6th Grade

6th Grade is a transition phase, where the student starts learning more specific subjects, having a bigger variety of teachers and exams with a bigger number of questions. It ‘s in the sixth grade that the kid also starts developing a bigger autonomy, learning to deal with the proposed exercises by themselves. We at Leffler offer the necessary security for this moment, stimulating the student in these new discoveries in a very collaborative learning proceso.

7th Grade

7th Grade provides the students with a bigger control in writing, reading and calculus. It is also a year in which they develop rational thinking and multidisciplinary vision, making students start to see the biological, human and exact areas as a whole. Participating in projects and extra class activities at Colegio Leffler also contribute to students finding their voice, making them develop a curiosity and taste for learning.

8th Grade

At 8th Grade the student starts taking bigger responsibilities. At this stage, the students not only go deeper in subjects they already know, but also start having contact with new ones. Classes tend to become more complex and students start easily connecting the subjects seen in class with the real world. This takes the students of Leffler to discover their passions and develop them through support, guidance, problem solving and decision making.

9th Grade

9th Grade, the last year of middle school, comes with one more change in the life of the students: being just one step away from High School, not only the dynamic of studying intensifies, but the students begin questioning themselves about the future. Here at Colégio Leffler we seek our student’s best performance, but also provide special care and individual guidance to motivate the students to reach their new goals and plan their trajectory – starting the choices of which patch to focus on, which course to do and which profession to follow.
